The Human Resources Representative provides filing and administrative support for the Human Resources Department.


This is considered to be an entry level position.

Essential Functions

  • Primarily responsible for the maintenance of the Human Resources File Room. This includes daily file upkeep and maintenance of employee records, as well as the maintenance of archive files.

  • Assists the Benefits Department with administrative support. This would include file maintenance as well as scheduling Team Members for benefits enrollment meetings.
  • Assists with break coverage at the Reception Desk.  This would include answering phones and greeting visitors to the department. In addition, may assist new Team Members in completing the on-boarding process.
  • Sorts and distributes mail.
  • Prepares, copies and assembles materials for training, benefits and other projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in an office environment preferred.  Experience in a human resources environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in speaking multiple languages is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members in both written and verbal form.
  • Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.
