Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s "Winning Attitude" company-wide culture and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
Collaborate with the Vice President and Director of Hotel Operations along with the Spa Manager to develop and implement plans to ensure the Spa establishes and maintains AAA Four Diamond service standards.
Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; retain members of the Spa management team, providing mentoring to subordinates to enhance career development opportunities.
Coach and develop Team Members to achieve expected goals by maintaining a consistent approachable demeanor and articulating department expectations.
Responsible for coordination and administration of hiring, employee relations, training, staff productivity, and facility utilization, legal and licensing compliance.
Responsible for managing day-to-day Spa operations in accordance with established budgetary objectives set by Hotel Division leadership.
Work with Spa Manager on operations development, monitoring all facets of the operation, department meetings, standards, and promotions.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels according to business volumes; i.e. special events, holidays, weekends, groups, etc.
Delegate work assignments, give authority to work independently, set expectations and monitor delegated activities.
Be available to staff; include staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; provide regular performance feedback; develop Team Members’ skills and encourage growth.
Oversee approval of all purchase orders and maintain vendor relationships.
Assist in development of menu of services and specials.
May be required to represent Thunder Valley Casino Resort to the general public, business partners, and community leaders at events hosted by the casino.
Accurately book, change and cancel Spa appointments.
Actively promote the Spa, treatments, services, retail, as well as programs, promotions, and/or discounts available.
Work with therapists to train, educate and motivate on services and retail sales.
