  • Overview

    Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.  Protect the company’s assets and account for all funds associated with gaming and non-gaming revenues.  Oversee the count room processes and ensure adherence to the minimum internal control standards for drop and count.  Supervise count team members as necessary.  Maintain control of sensitive casino keys.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s “Winning Attitude” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
    • Responsible for the daily inspection of count equipment and reporting any mechanical issues pertaining to count equipment to Count team supervisor on a daily basis.
    • Supervise and coach count team members on proper count procedures on a daily basis. Resolve problems as they arise during the count process. Ensure company policies are being enforced and safety guidelines are being followed.
    • Empty contents of all gaming and non-gaming drop box, validator, envelope, etc. Sort, stack and process all contents.
    • Operate count equipment in a safe, efficient and cautious manner to minimize mechanical equipment malfunction and potential injury.
    • Enter all gaming and non-gaming revenue into count machines and computer programs. Manually count and verify all revenue totals. Balance figures to the required documentation.
    • Evaluate the count process periodically and make adjustments to mitigate potential work flow stoppage and meet processing time requirements.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Ability to communicate effectively in English with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
    • Basic math skills.
    • 10 key skills.
    • Basic data entry skills.
    • Must possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Must be 21 years of age.
    • Be honest and reliable, and be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
    • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
    • Must be able to obtain gaming license from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
    • Ability to gain understanding of gaming regulation minimum internal control standards and requirements for drop and count.
