  • Overview

    Responsible for monitoring, dispatching and controlling all status calls for Housekeeping and related departments. Handles Guest opportunities/inquiries with established "Four Diamond" standards in mind. Performs responsibilities in accordance with established company standards, policies, and procedures.

     

     

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s "Winning Attitude" Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
    • Participates in daily pre-shift meetings outlining activities and expectations to ensure "AAA Four Diamond / Luxury" standards achieved and maintained.
    • Ensures that there is proper staffing, and paperwork is properly completed at the start of each day.
    • Maintains Housekeeping log book.
    • Responsible for answering telephone calls promptly and professionally. Expedites gathered information in a timely manner.
    • Works with Front Desk and Housekeeping to input and update room status when necessary.
    • Must ensure daily pre-shift training occurs for each shift.
    • Responsible for securing all lost and found property in the hotel guest areas. Works with Security Department to ensure items are logged tracked in accordance with company policy and procedure.
    • Finalize status on all rooms each day, including keys and radios, etc.
    • Process and dispatch all work orders and follow-up to ensure that tasks are performed.
    • Inspects rooms & public areas.
    • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school or equivalent education preferred.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
    • Previous Guest room experience preferred.
    • Previous experience working with business equipment, such as office computers, copiers, fax, and calculators.
