The Player Development Executive is responsible for generating Guest visits to Thunder Valley Casino Resort by developing business in new markets and reactivating premium casino Guests while providing the highest level of professional Guest service. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s "Winning Attitude" company-wide culture and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. 
  • Cultivate new and re-activate inactive slot and table game Guests by networking within a geographic territory, telemarketing, direct mail, and e-mail.
  • Establish relationships within the community and with key influencers in target markets to promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
  • Maintain a database of players to achieve an individual sales goal as outlined by annual measurable objectives and business goals.
  • Maintain VIP Guest accounts with special attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Maintain close relationships with targeted Guests through personal contact.
  • Promote trip frequency by supporting all special events and casino promotions.
  • Be responsible for controlling complimentary expenses by adhering to profit potential margins as set by division policies and company standards.
  • Represent the company at functions and events on-property and in market, and be a role model for the company culture.
  • Foster and promote a cooperative work environment maximizing customer service.
  • Conduct behavior with the highest level of integrity and honesty.
  • Make prudent decisions within department guidelines regarding complimentary services.
  • Assist in resolving Guest and Team Member disputes.
  • Look for new marketing strategies and remain abreast of changes in the gaming industry.
  • Provide input for the development and administration of policies promoting effective Guest service.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Apply effective verbal, written, telemarketing, and communication skills when dealing with new and assigned Guests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar capacity in player development with a proven track record to meet and exceed financial goals and objectives. 
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese or Spanish languages preferred. 
  • College degree preferred. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of personalities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff on-property to ensure the highest level of VIP service. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with casino player tracking computer software is required. 
  • Must be flexible when planning work schedules, work hours, days off, holidays, and special events.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
