Overview

The Bingo Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of all Bingo sessions including management of the day-to-day operations, and supervision and evaluation of all Bingo Team Members. This job requires a high level of multitasking between Guest requests and Bingo floor operations while maintaining a positive attitude and providing friendly, efficient service to Guests and Team Members. The Bingo Supervisor must have a complete understanding of all positions in Bingo and be able to fill in at any position if needed. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s "Winning Attitude" company-wide culture and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
  • Ensure that the Bingo Leads have performed opening functions including, but not limited to, stocking each station with paper for sale, setting computer for operation, verifying Bingo balls, preparing paperwork for the shifts, and ensuring all staff are ready for their shift.
  • Verify that each station is prepared for the corresponding session.
  • Verify each selling and cash station in order to verify that the funds are consistent with paper sales and winners paid. Countersign the cash inventory forms and note any variances.
  • Verify all orders for fills and credits, and ensure that funds are received or turned in.
  • Verify each station’s beginning paper inventory number prior to the start time of sales. Record each station’s ending inventory numbers by recording the number of the last papers sold.
  • Log all Team Member attendance incidents.
  • Implement the departmental policies and procedures as directed by the Bingo Manager.
  • Assist the Bingo Leads with managerial functions during the shift, including station assignments, calling assignments, and ensuring that the department operates efficiently during the assigned shift.
  • Handle any Guest opportunities that may escalate beyond a Bingo Lead, and ensure the Bingo Manager and Director of Slot Operations are sent information on the issue and any resolution.
  • Give full attention to Guest opportunities, and take ownership of these opportunities to ensure Guest satisfaction.
  • Verify all paperwork regarding shift statistical results.
  • Observe and safeguard the assets of the company.
  • Properly implement all Title 31 procedures.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • One (1) year previous management experience, preferably in a gaming operation.
  • Previous Bingo experience preferred.
  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of money handling.
  • Ability to understand and comply with all Company and Department policies and procedures.
  • Display friendly, courteous, polite behavior with a positive attitude.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Requires walking, reaching, turning, bending, lifting, carrying, observing, hearing, sitting.
  • Requires the ability to push, pull, transport, and maneuver items weighing up to 100 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use job related equipment.
